Rose Restoration restores antique and fine wood furniture for homeowners, designers, and estates across Washington DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Our craftsmen repair, refinish, and conserve heirloom and designer pieces since 1978 — preserving value and character.

Furniture We Restore

Our Process

We assess the piece, its age, and finish, then choose conservation or refinishing accordingly — repairing veneer and structure, addressing water and heat damage, and re-establishing a finish that respects the original. For antiques we preserve patina and value rather than stripping indiscriminately.

Why Rose Restoration

Family-run since 1978, with craftsmen who restore rather than replace. We treat heirloom and designer pieces with the care they deserve, backed by our written workmanship warranty.

Serving the DC Metro

Furniture restoration across Washington DC, Arlington, McLean, Bethesda, Alexandria, Fairfax, Potomac, Great Falls, and surrounding communities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will refinishing reduce my antique’s value?
Done correctly, no. We conserve original finish and patina on antiques wherever possible, and only refinish when it is the right call for the piece.

Can you repair water damage and white rings?
Yes. Water rings, heat marks, and finish damage can usually be repaired and blended into the existing finish.

How much does furniture restoration cost?
It depends on the piece and condition. Send photos for a written estimate.

Commercial Wood Furniture & Millwork Restoration

From boardroom tables at law firms to wood paneling in executive suites, Rose Restoration refinishes every commercial wood surface — furniture, millwork, paneling, built-ins, doors, and architectural trim. We restore the finishes, repair the scratches and water marks, and seal everything back to protected showroom condition — on a schedule that works around your operations.

What We Restore

Wood Paneling & Architectural Millwork

Executive office paneling, board-room walls, and historic architectural trim refinished in place. We restore the finish without damaging the wall, substrate, or surrounding plaster.

Reception Desks & Conference Tables

Walnut, mahogany, and veneered commercial furniture restored to premium finish. Scratches, water marks, and burns repaired invisibly. Color-matched to your existing woodwork.

Built-Ins, Bars & Custom Fixtures

Scope Clarification

What we don't do.

Rose Restoration does not offer hardwood floor sanding or floor refinishing. For floor work, please contact a specialized hardwood flooring company. We're focused on all wood surfaces except floors — furniture, millwork, paneling, built-ins, doors, trim, cabinetry. Floors require different equipment and specialization.

Keep It. Don't Replace It.

A full refinish costs 15–30% of replacement.

Commercial wood furniture represents a real capital investment. Request an assessment.
