The Setting
Everything at Baha Mar is built to impress at scale: a casino floor threaded with mosaic marble walkways under a gold dome, grand entry halls of cream marble inlaid with teal, curved black marble stairs at the bars, and brass-inlaid medallions set into the stone. Surfaces like these are the architecture. When they dull under construction traffic and opening-year footfall, the whole room dims with them.
The Work
Rose crews restored the marble floors across the resort’s public spaces: honing out construction wear and traffic patterns, polishing the fields back to a uniform reflective finish, detailing the inlays and medallions where multiple stones and brass meet, and sealing the completed floors. The work was sequenced around a fully operating resort and casino, the same discipline our crews practice nightly in Washington’s hotels, carried out fifteen hundred miles from home.
