What Drives Epoxy Flooring Cost
1. Concrete Preparation
Proper diamond grinding is what separates a coating that lasts fifteen years from one that peels in eighteen months. 2. Moisture Testing and Mitigation

Most garages do not. Cove base carries the coating a few inches up the wall in a curved edge. It costs extra and adds a day to the install, so a one-day floor with cove base becomes a two-day job. Commercial kitchens are different: they need cove base so the floor-to-wall joint can be washed down.
